Pip's Pond

Terms of use

Pip's Pond app · Effective 15 October 2026

In short
  • You may use Pip's Pond for personal, family and classroom play.
  • The full game is a one-time purchase through Google Play, tied to the Google Account that bought it.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Playducation (registered name and address), the maker of Pip's Pond. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If a child uses the app, the parent or guardian who installed it agrees on their behalf.

Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Pip's Pond on devices you own or control, for personal, family or classroom use. You may not copy, sell, modify, decompile or redistribute the app or its content (levels, artwork, music and text), except where the law allows it.

The free part and the full game

The first 12 ponds are free. The rest of the game is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase made through Google Play. The purchase is tied to the Google Account used to buy it, so it can be restored on another device signed in to that account, using the Restore purchase button in the game. Google Play's terms of service apply to the purchase.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If a purchase is refunded, the full game may lock again on the next launches of the app. Saved progress is not deleted.

Certificates

Certificates show the name typed in by the player and the coding skills covered by a world of the game. They are a fun record of play, not a formal qualification.

Changes and availability

We may update the app to fix problems or add content. We aim to keep Pip's Pond available, but we may change or stop offering it. If we stop offering it, a copy already installed keeps working on the device.

Our responsibility

We work hard to make Pip's Pond reliable and safe for children, but the app is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for problems caused by the device, its software, or Google Play. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of country. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
